If I wanted to do a reverse one (the sky being in the middle), what do I change? sorry if it's too obvious but I can't figure it out. example: http://wvs.topleftpixel.com/08/04/28/
You'd follow the same process but I believe you'd need a 360 degree panorama or close to it.
The issue your going to have is if the image is not wide enough, you'll be missing a pie slice out of the top or bottom and everything will be bunched up together.
To create the effect you following the same steps but instead of flipping the image vertically, apply the polar coordinate filter with the image as is. If your photo is wide enough it should work.
